WHY MIT
MIT students get practical skills employers want
With many of our classes being small, students get personal attention – our tutors even know you by name
You’ll enjoy a supportive learning environment throughout your study journey.
MIT DEGREE GRADS EARN MORE
Studying at MIT gives our students the skills and knowledge to turn their qualification into a rewarding career. Even better, MIT degree graduates earn more, and are more likely to be employed.
Recently analysed government data shows that MIT degree holders have the highest employment rates and among the highest median earnings in the country five years after finishing their degrees.

“I finally realized that this was where I needed to be, so took that step towards qualifying”.
I found MIT as I was weighing up all the different options for study. It was nice and close and I found the rich culture of MIT’s students and faculty staff super appealing.
“I first discovered MIT’s Faculty of Creative Arts while visiting a friend who was attending the Creative Writing programme. I was amazed at the calibre of writers on staff, real professionals working directly with the students in an environment that felt more personal and direct than any programme I had seen. Those lecturers go above and beyond for their students as well"
"Alex achieved excellent earning a scholarship and graduating top of her class.
Prior to taking up study at MIT she had a successful career in insurance and once held the position of operations manager at Buckingham Palace.
The Christchurch earthquake of 2011 was a turning point for Alex"
